Oil cooler failure is unfortunately very common on the 6.0 Powerstrokes which can lead to high engine oil temperatures resulting in engine damage, EGR cooler failure, as well as other issues. Before resulting to replacing your oil cooler, try back flushing the cooler with this simple kit. This kit allows you to back flush the system while leaving the oil cooler in the truck. Hopefully saving you lots of time and money!
This kit replaces the coolant discharge cap on our factory oil cooler. It fits 2003-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstrokes.
